Well I would have to say this was the best Valentines Day I have ever had. Gary and Carter went and bought me a hammock and set it up in the living room. I was so surprised. I had no idea how Gary knew to get me one of those. I have always wanted one. Every night, I read to Carter for about 20 minutes. One of the two books that we read EVERY night is a word book. Every time I get to the hammock picture, I say...."Mommy wants one of those." I didn't realize that Gary hears me say that every night. (through the monitor in Carter's room) Wow!!! What a great idea. So now I need to point to the page that has the beach and say.... "Mommy sure does want to go there" :)
We let Carter sleep with us on Friday night, so we woke up to that precious little angel first thing. We got up and headed to do a little shopping in Franklin. We came home and I went to the gym. Then I went and had a fabulous massage. OHHHH and I mean fabulous!!!
That night we gave Carter his present. He got a new movie, some Reeses, and some heart suckers. He was so excited. He kept calling the Reeses "MMs". We kept correcting him because he only gets "M&M's" when he uses the big boy potty. (And yes...I said the big boy potty. We have slowly been introducing him to the potty. He loves wearing big boy underwear. We are just now introducing it, but we aren't pushing it too much. We want him to make the decision that he is ready.) Back to Valentines Day...We went to O'Charley's for dinner. We then went home and went to bed. Sunday morning, Carter and I woke up and made Valentine cookies for his little friends at church. He was so proud! What a wonderful day!!! I'll post pics later.
